When you login to your Sippo account, the first thing you'll see is your menu. It's typically sectioned into:
Beverages
Food
Misc
These are the set options, but you're able to edit them by clicking the settings gear.
Adding Categories
Within each section, you can create and arrange Categories. Category examples include:
Beverages: On Draft, Wines, Beer, Tea & Coffee, Non-alcoholic
Food: Appetizers, Brunch, Lunch, Dinner, Sides, Desserts
Misc: Clothing, Mugs, Glassware
How to add one:
Navigate to + Add Beverages Category on the top right of the page
Choose what category you would like to make (beer, seltzer, non-alc, etc)
Optional: add a description
Continue adding categories for different beverages and food so it's easy to keep them organized
As you build out your categories, you may want to rearrange them. You can do so at any time by dragging categories in whatever order you'd like.
When creating a category, you also have the option to give it a description. Some Sippo users use this space to convey information like "All mains come with fries or a side salad".
Hidden categories
To archive a product from your menu that you want to bring back later, we can create a Hidden category.
Create it the same way as any other category
Name it Hidden or Archived so it's clear what it is
Click the pencil icon to edit it
Click Mark as Hidden
Drag and drop, or select a product card and then click Move at the top
